Hi Folks ...

Marc Durkee and I (Tim Merry) are playing at the Hub in Halifax on June 24th, 7:30pm, which is the half day of the institute this year. Beautiful guitar, socially conscious slam poetry ... it would be great to see folks from the leadership program there! $2.50 at the door and bring your own beverages. Check out the flier online here: http://web.me.com/kongska/MerryandDurkee/GIGS_files/Hub_flyer.pdf ... or more on Merry and Durkee and http://www.merryanddurkee.com/ .

Chris Corrigan will be joining us on guitar/vocals/penny whistle too! The Hub is a brilliant example of social innovation - great place to check out while you are here: http://thehubhalifax.ca/

Cheers Tim and Marc

PS ... Looking forward to seeing folks at the institute this year and welcoming people into our module on collaborations across generations! Very very cool Barbara is joining us on the team!

Another update, confirmed today. We will miss Monica Nissen, who will not be joining us this year after all. Calligrapher Barbara Bash has stepped in to join Tim Merry and Chris Corrigan in hosting the module "The Art of Hosting Conversations and Collaborations Across Generations."

Lots of cool developments coming together in these final weeks. For example, some of the highlights from ALIA West are making their way into the mix. Thomas Arthur, "contemplative juggler" will bring his amazing talent. Keith Webb, "business ecologist," will lead lunchtime walks around the campus, making connections between natural and social ecologies and economies. Can't wait!

I'm looking forward to attending very much even though it is a "long walk" from Australia. I'm counting down the days before I get on the big winged bird.
