This concept of street hosting is intriguing. I will be watching to see what emerges.
In November, a group of colleagues and myself from our local OD Network, visited our local Occupy group.
I love the way there is no single message, and it is a leaderless movement!
Yet - they must take care of the daily aspects of living, such as organizing garbage pickup! And taking care of the homeless people that come by.
Here's my blog item about our Occupy Ottawa visit:

- hosting Flashmob Dialogue Circles in Berlin and Leeds. Inspired by discussion circles on Tahrir Square in November. Circles are also practiced in Athens in connection to the Katalysis project...
- participating in an Open Space called by Occupy Harrisonburg with a session on Collaborative Democracy in Berlin
- hosting a World Café with Occupy Berlin around the calling theme: Planning the next Spring together
