Sometimes the only thing that separates us from getting the help, encouragement, and support is a conversation. Women coming in raw, and walking out into their own; through authentically Being together was powerful. This endeavor was about what I thought I needed during this time in my life. I can't say enough about my experience with the Women in Leadership Tract, as I've already suited some of the ideas into my work with parents and other professional women. My overall experience with ALIA exceeded my expectation, and I have made some new lifetime mates. Keep up the great work!

Chris Corrigan describes Peter Block's Community: The Structure of Belonging in his recent blog as "one of the most useful books of the past five years in terms of the work I do....  In it he aggregates the wisdom of those of us who have been practicing participatory process for the last 30 years in North America."

From there you can follow the trail to A Small Group in Cincinnati, which is putting the book's ideas into practice. Peter will be speaking on the first day of the Summer Institute, under the theme Change for Good: What does it Really Take?
