- Please share something about yourself, your work, and what draws you to the ALIA community.
- I have had a daily meditation practice for about 20 years. For the past three years I have been attending courses at the Shambhala Centre here in Toronto and then last year I had the good fortune of attending a week-long Dathun at the Shambhala Mountain Centre in Colorado. I have been teaching leadership courses for about nine years in various professional faculties at the University of Toronto. My leadership development practice has focused on helping managers become more effective by introducing them to structured approaches to their leadership work and through individual coaching focused on emotional intelligence. I am now very interested in merging my meditation practice with my leadership development work.I recently attended the 2011 ALIA Institute in the Netherlands and came away inspired to become more active in the ALIA community.
