Glenda, can you refresh my memory with the overarching question we were answering last week? I can't remember the exact wording but it was about influencing systems and an unpredictable future?

Glenda, my prayers are with you and your entire family regarding your husband's recovery and wellbeing. After being in a similar situation recently, I can imagine your focused mindedness; and the positive energy coming from everyone who has come in contact with him. May he continue to be in the direction of wellness and a champion that he has always been. I too will see you next month. Wali

Hi Glenda, I am delighted to see you as a member of ALIA community. I recently joined in April as well. Since joining the ALIA community, I have noticed conversations and questions concerning if President Obama is living in authentic leadership, etc. I believe that the ALIA community is a learning environment that promotes naturally unleashing our brains maximum potential to have a magnificent mind at any age. In my assessment, being and becoming an authentic leader requires us to consciously and consistantly looking at ourselves in the mirror. Authentic Leadership or being an authentic leader is not about being perfect or always having the right answer. We can name any authentic leader of our choice, and what truth do we know about she/he, they were about striving and thriving in achieving human models of excellence. As we know, we can look not too far in the past and can name several authentic leaders who demonstrated during their life time examples of authentic leadership, and left models of human excellence that are admired, useful and empowering worldwide today. In my assessment, President Obama is inviting world citizens to help him to create a new framework and understanding of oneness, and an appreciation of our differences, and in the words of Meg Wheatley, "moving beyond fearlessness." Please help me and others to invite ALIA community to keep cultivating our authentic leader that resides in all of us toward victory.

With joy, gratitude and excitement,
Wali

P.S. I am inviting you to join my page as a friend, and I would like to join your page as a friend as well. My photo will be uploaded in a day or two.
