Hello Halifax,
I have never blogged in my life!. I'm not even sure this will even go anywhere when I send it. The reason for this "first" is because ever since I attended ALIA last May at Royal Rhodes in Victoria I have felt a need for connection with folks like you who attend events like where you are right now. Lyn Hartley turned me on to ALIA and when I heard she was going to participate I was glad for the Yukon to be somehow present on the other side of Canada. Having just finished my first 3-day silent meditation retreat (held at my retreat centre in Yukon) I feel like I am on a journey of "firsts" and welcoming whatever comes next. I plan to experience Halifax by tuning into the energy you all send out.

It worked! I was hoping you'd see the post and connect. I've been enjoying tuning into the news of what is happening (loved Barbara's graphic tree of intentions for the opening!) and following the threads of connection. I feel like I'm a real blogger as I don't spend enough time on a computer to offer input into the dialogue.
ALIA in Yukon - why not! I would gladly help to make that happen. Folks would have to be making some conscious choices to make the extra carbon footprint to get here, but once they made that choice they would never forget our Canadian north land. Have folks been expressing an interest...or would you like to cultivate an interest in ALIA Yukon?
